Ever had a Leading edge bladder puncture and not able to get a new one anywhere? This is a major problem here in the UK, where importers just don't carry after market parts, a major headache for us!Phoning up everywhere trying to get hold of a certain bladder.
This is why we have gone to a major bladder manufacturer to get this problem sorted out. The solution is simple, bladder sizes need to be standardized, oversized and/or customised. Kind of like the airtime solution really but at prices that don't seem completely outrageous!
Here's how it works: There are 3 sizes of bladder to choose from
7 meters - £45
10 meters - £45
12 meters - £45
The sizes have been very carefully selected to fit every single kite on the market because they are oversized. So, to get a bladder all you have to do is measure the length of your leading edge from tip to tip. Always get a bigger size bladder than your Leading edge. Now if you have two valves you need to specify the distance between them(centre to centre)
When you install the bladder the remaining end bladder is just folded inside the tips.
